Oh, what fun today was! Season 1 of Twisted Metal was released amid the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strike in 2023 and none of their union members were promoting any of their work. This morning I opened my Instagram and my feed was filled with new images and the final trailer for Season 2 being shared by just about everyone I follow that’s involved with the show. The excitement is real!
For a synopsis, casting, and 17 beautiful pictures from S2 still photographer Pief Weyman, you can check out Philiana Ng’s article at Peacock.

Looking through a few of the write ups from today, I noticed some of them seem to have discrepancies when it came to the schedule and how the episodes will be released. “After our 3 episode premiere, we will be week to week (2x every Thursday), ending with three glorious episodes on August 28th” showrunner Michael Jonathan “MJ” Smith told Twisted Metal Kompanion podcast. The table below lists the release dates for all 12 episodes.

There are currently no updates on times the episodes will release or whether the international viewers will have the same release format.
