When “Cobra Kai” first premiered in 2018, many veteran Karate Kid fans questioned how the Miyagiverse could continue without Mr. Miyagi. Cobra Kai creators Jon Hurwitz, Josh Heald, and Hayden Schlossberg have done a miraculous job with keeping Miyagi’s spirit alive throughout the series. But as the seasons progressed, the idea of Mr. Miyagi returning in physical form—as a young man in a flashbacksequence—became a constant wish in the fandom. In Part 2 of Season 6, that wish finally became a reality, but not in the way that anyone could have ever imagined.
